About The Success Doctor
Dr. Shirley Davis, affectionately known as “The Success Doctor” and “Life Coach,” is also an internationally acclaimed keynote speaker; workshop/seminar facilitator; an accomplished corporate executive, a Professor at Georgetown University, and the host of the weekly radio show, “The Success Doctor with Dr. Shirley Davis.”
She has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resource Management, and has led such functions as Training and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Recruiting, Change Management, Performance Management, and Leadership Development. She travels across the country and internationally speaking at conferences, seminars, workshops, and to business executives on issues regarding Global Talent Management, Leadership Excellence, and Personal/Professional Development.
Dr. Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law; a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management; and a Ph.D. in Business Management, with a special expertise in Leadership Development. She successfully navigated her career in corporate America from entry level to executive level as a woman, a minority, and a single parent and now teaches men and women the skills necessary to do the same. She recently joined the prestigious faculty of Georgetown University as an Associate Professor in their Continuing Education’s Master’s Program Human Resources and Diversity Management. Shirley is a member of numerous professional organizations, sits on several Boards and is very active in her church, community and family. She’s a former Miss District of Columbia, Ms. Oklahoma and in 2000 won the national title of Ms. American United States.
